Cordon bleu

Cordon bleu is one of the french food's name that everyone know. But what is it? It's chicken breast, ham, cheese put together and fried in a pan! How good?! Make cordon bleu and mash potato and you will be making the perfect kid meal!

  • 4 slices of chicken breast
  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of mozzarella
  • Flour
  • 1 egg
  • salt & pepper
  • Breadcrumbs

  1. A work plan, have your turkey cutlets on which you will put ham and cheese and then close it.
  2. Then prepare the breading by putting in a plate the beaten egg (salt, pepper) and in another one the crumbs. Flour first cordon bleu to make the egg stick on it. Then move the it in the egg (both sides) and then in breadcrumbs (both sides).
  3. Heat a good amount of oil in a pan. On high heat, color a side for a minute, then reduce the heat for about 3-4 minutes depending on the thickness of your chicken breast. Then repeat on the other side. Colour high heat and cook at a lower heat. Remove with a spatula and place on paper towels.
